Core training with babies -The bitch

This one is often called the plank, but we call it the bitch because that's what it is.
Stand like so and hold for 30 seconds. Repeat with the other arm. People will feel sorry for you and might kiss you.

I've heard people can do this with their arm straightened. I can not fathom doing that.

Core training with babies -Gotta go on the cross

We all know it must have sucked to be nailed to a cross. Now to add to injury, imagine you really had to pee but still had some sense of vanity in that hopeless situation. That's what this exercise is like, but somehow your legs have managed to escape the nails and are able to swing from side to side while your upper body stays put and arms stretched to each side. It's hard! Once you've mastered it, try doing it with straight legs!

No one, not even superheroes will help you.

Other people call this exercise the pendulum. What do they know.

Core training with babies -The bridge

This one is called "The bridge". Lift your bum like so and hold it for 30 seconds. Repeat 5 times.

An alternative would be to carry out the exercise like this. We call it potty training.

If you want to be a show-off like my brother, try lifting one leg in the air and hold it hold it hold it.

Core training with babies -Superman

This exercise is called Superman or Superdad.

Lift both arms and legs and hold for 15-20 seconds. Repeat 5 times. If this hurts, try the easy way and lift just one arm and one leg at a time (right leg and left arm and vice-versa).
