Who is Lisa Chong?? Also, I was wondering what to wear when running in bitter-cold Sweden - How much is sensible to put on??? You (and Lisa Chong) seems to have all the good answers.. therefore I turn to you for some good advice :
Emi says:Well, Lisa is a reader who wants to start running but never gets around to it. We'll have her and who ever else wants to join run 5 km without stopping/switching to walking by Christmas.
Regarding your second question, this is what I had to put on while running in -14 below (celsius). That would be 6.8 ºF if you're into Fahrenheit. But that's kind of my limit. Any colder than that, I'll run on the treadmill.

That's a lot of clothes... need to go shopping then! I have looked at people running in shorts in November-cold-Sweden, and thought that's the way to do it.. obviously not. Thanks E, now, no excuses!
no need to go shopping yet! that's just for 14 below! for now, you'll just need a pair of long tights.
Are you still running in your Vibrams? Why or why not.
this is such a great blog! keep it up and more power!
haven't been running in the vibrams. have simply forgotten about them. but vill bring them out this winter.
my friend becca in japan just did her first run---i love how your running-enthusiasm has gone world-wide.. now need to get MY act together. am going out now to walk/run.
feel much better! think my goal should be either 1. running for half hour straight w/o stopping, or 2. fitting into my acne jeans. (i hate to admit that fitting into my acne jeans is more motivational)
my last post i promise: i love the cute baby hand in the picture!!!
